Mark Scovill escorted Davis during his visit here to meet with Marines and Sailors and learn about the capabilities of a MEU and the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group. The 24th MEU and Iwo Jima ARG are deployed as the U.S. Central Command theater reserve force.
