Soldiers assigned to the 531st Hospital Center (HC) stand in formation as they wait for their transportation to camp at Amedee Army Airfield, California, during a United States Forces Command Medical Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise (EDRE), Oct. 23, 2019. The 531st HC deployed from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to Sierra Army Depot to establish a field hospital that will provide a variety of medical services such as intensive and intermediate medical care, surgery, dental and pharmacy, laboratory services, and others.
