Kristian Hill, a surgical nurse assigned to the Womack Army Medical Center, conducts a 12-mile foot march during the Expert Field Medical Badge qualification course on Oct. 31, 2019. The EFMB course included an Army Physical Fitness Test, a written test, day and night land navigation, three combat testing lanes and a 12-mile foot march. Candidates tested on rigorous and timed activities such as medical, warrior, chemical and casualty evacuation skills in a battlefield scenario to ensure readiness in any hostile environment.
