U.S. Army Col. Larry Aielo, the deputy chief of XVIII Airborne Corps, pins an Expert Field Medical Badge onto Cpt. Winston Posvar, distinguished honor graduate, during the award ceremony at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Oct. 31, 2019. The EFMB course included an Army Physical Fitness Test, a written test, day and night land navigation, three combat testing lanes and a 12-mile foot march. Candidates tested on rigorous and timed activities such as medical, warrior, chemical and casualty evacuation skills in a battlefield scenario to ensure readiness in any hostile environment.
