191112-N-PP451-1015 SANTA RITA, Guam (Nov. 12, 2019) Equipment Operator 1st Class David Earley (right), from Ewa, Hawaii, and Equipment Operator 2nd Class Alexander Taschner (center), from Palmdale, California, both deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Guam, brief Force Master Chief Delbert Terrell Jr., Naval Facilities Engineering Command, on the Asphalt Batch Plant during a tour of the plant the U.S. Navy Seabees are constructing in order to support initiatives of the Naval Construction Force throughout Guam, increasing military readiness and capability. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
