191112-A-HZ000-2054 ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 12, 2019) Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Wesley Wachner, assigned to the coastal patrol ship USS Sirocco (PC 6), passes a line to a sailor from a rigid-hull inflatable boat to allow other Sailors to board the RHIB. Sirocco is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
