191112-A-HZ000-3068 ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 12, 2019) Sailors and Coast Guardsmen board a rigid-hull inflatable boat from the coastal patrol ship USS Sirocco (PC 6) to begin security operations in the Arabian Gulf. Sirocco is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
