Young Han, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Chaplain, says a prayer and words of encouragement before a traditional Boodle Fight for NMCB-5’s Detail Palawan and the Armed Forces of Philippines NMCB-2. A Boodle Fight is a tradition where two groups of people have a race to see who can eat the fastest. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
