191122-N-QR336-1002 NARRA, Palawan (Nov. 22, 2019) Construction Electrician 2nd Class Niteshkoemar Kewalder, from Jamaica, New York, and Construction Electrician Constructionman Jonathan Bellin, from Weyauwega, Wisconsin, both deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Palawan, pour concrete into column formwork and use the vibrator to make sure no air pockets are formed for the construction of a new schoolhouse at Malatgao Elementary School. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
