Guest speaker for the June 6 opening of Fort Hood’s new Warrior Transition Brigade’s campus was Lt. Gen. Donald Campbell, III Corps commanding general. The $62 million, 15-acre campus to care for the Army’s wounded, ill and injured soldiers includes a 320-person barracks, company headquarter, battalion operations building and a Soldier and Family Assistance Center.
