ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 17, 2020) Capt. Timothy Waits, USS Gerald R. Ford's executive officer, inspects Airman Joshua Sayles, from Kingsley, Michigan, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) weapons department, during a uniform inspection as part of Ford's 'Division in the Spotlight'. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
