ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 22, 2020) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Equipment) Airman Myles Scott, from Cleveland, Ohio, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) air department, returns to the foul line after guiding the arresting gear cable into position aboard Ford's flight deck. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
