Staff from the Occupational Health Facility in Bldg. 3334 welcomed their patients with treats and snacks for Patient Appreciation Day Jan. 22. The facility will hold monthly appreciation days, lasting all day to be able to reach patients from all shifts. The purpose of the events are to be able to get to know their patients better and to be able to educate them on the occupational medicine mission. The staff helps the civilian workforce with pre-employment and pre-placement screenings, work-related injuries, employment physicals and assure workers are safe in their work invironments and are getting back to work in a safe manner, even from injuries or illnessness not sustained while on the job.
