FORT BENNING, Ga. – In an April 2019 photo, U.S. Army Rangers complete a swimming event here while competing in the notoriously challenging Best Ranger Competition, part of the prestigious annual Infantry Week competition. Infantry Week will be held again this year, from April 14-20. It comprises four separate competitions: Best Mortar Competition, All Army Lacerda Cup Combatives Competition, International Sniper Competition, and Best Ranger Competition. Infantry Week is known for its exacting standards and often grueling physical demands, in which competitors vie under high-pressure, combat-like conditions for best-in-their-field honors. The public is invited to attend.
