Fans show their support of teams and the country at the “Battle of the Bridge” hockey game. The Michigan Upper Peninsula Veterans Hockey Club played against the Saginaw Spirit Warriors, another all-veteran team from lower Michigan, during the “Battle of the Bridge” game at the Dee Stadium, Houghton Mich. on Feb. 22, 2020. Along with giving veterans a chance to experience armed forces camaraderie once again, Battle of the Bridge acts as a money-raising opportunity for the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans. All proceeds for the night went to the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans which offers quality care in a homelike environment to former Service members. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
