A Trooper from 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, reached the top of the Weaver obstacle on February 25, 2020, at the Obstacle Course in Fort Irwin, Calif. The Spur Ride is a long-standing tradition in Cavalry units in which Troopers demonstrate physical prowess, knowledge of Cavalry history, and the ability to work as a team to earn a set of silver Spurs and be inducted into the Order of the Spur.
