New York National Guard logistics experts working at New York National Guard headquarters and practicing social distancing on March 18, 2020. Normally they would be locationed inthe Joint Operations Center but those functions were dispersed across the building to practice social distancing.The Joint Operations Center, or JOC, serves as the central clearing point for operational information to allow Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General of New York, to control the response as the force assists in New York State efforts to control the COVID-19 pandemic in New York.
