Sgt. John Campbell, public safety bomb technician and bomb squad commander for the Biloxi Police Department, connects the firing wire to the master fire control system in preparation for an explosives demonstration during an Improvised Explosives Familiarization and Chemical Outreach Class held at Woolmarket Small Arms Range. The training was a collaboration between the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Jackson, Miss. Division, the Biloxi Police Department and 20th Seabee Readiness Group, and was designed to forge relationships with first responders, military, law enforcement and chemical industry partners, and provide awareness of the dangers of improvised explosives and their precursors.
