    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville Districts, civil engineer and project manager, COVID-19 Miami Beach Convention Center Alternate Care Site, Ingrid Bon reviews plans for the alternative care facility. She is one of the many dedicated Corps personnel that has volunteered to support the Conversion of the Miami Beach Convention Center to help treat COVID-19 patients.

    The Corps of Engineers awarded the $22.5 million contract to Robins and Morton of Miami, Fla., to convert the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) into an Alternate Care Facility (ACF) by April 27.
    During emergencies, the Corps of Engineers is the federal government's lead public works and engineering support agency.
