The Corps of Engineers awarded the $22.5 million contract to Robins and Morton of Miami, Fla., to convert the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) into an Alternate Care Facility (ACF) by April 27.
During emergencies, the Corps of Engineers is the federal government's lead public works and engineering support agency.
