By coming down and doing work in-person to build a cafeteria and repair wiring at Centenario Jose Trinidad Cabanas school, American troops had a big impact on the community and provided the school’s students with some extra-credit English lessons, said school director Luis Arturo Henandez Murcia (Center). The soldiers were in Honduras as part of U.S. Army South’s Beyond the Horizon exercise, which combines military training with humanitarian aid missions.
