For the last two weeks, USACE has been renovating the facility to make it suitable for use as an Alternate Care Facility to increase hospital space in the state due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On April 21, USACE officially signed the facility over to the state, signifying that renovations had been completed and the facility was ready for equipping and staffing.
