NAPLES, Italy (May 1, 2020) Capt. Jeffrey J. Kilian, commanding officer of Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT), administers the oath of reenlistment to Lt. Cmdr. Patrick Chitty, from Florence Alabama, assistant operations officer, during his promotion ceremony. Nearly 12 years ago, Chitty received a note from Capt. Jorge Cuadros, now Executive Officer for NAVFAC EURAFCENT, in the note was a reminder that officers are part of a bigger team and no one is alone as they traverse their career. NAVFAC EURAFCENT executed more than $1 Billion in fiscal year 2019 in construction, professional engineering and facilities services for the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force and NATO forces.
