NAPLES, Italy (May 1, 2020) Capt. Jeffrey J. Kilian, commanding officer of Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT), signs Cmdr. Patrick Chitty's, from Florence Alabama, assistant operations officer, promotional paperwork while Chitty shows Capt. Cuadros, executive officer of NAVFAC EURAFCENT, a note from 12 years ago during his promotion ceremony. The note was a reminder that officers are part of a bigger team and no one is alone as they traverse their career. NAVFAC EURAFCENT executed more than $1 Billion in fiscal year 2019 in construction, professional engineering and facilities services for the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force and NATO forces.
