NAPLES, Italy (May 1, 2020) Lt. Cmdr. Patrick Chitty, from Florence Alabama, assistant operations officer, at Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT) has his children place his rank boards on his dress white uniform during his promotion ceremony. Chitty wanted his two children to participate in the ceremony, so they understand its importance. NAVFAC EURAFCENT executed more than $1 Billion in fiscal year 2019 in construction, professional engineering and facilities services for the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force and NATO forces.
