The German air force’s Center for Aerospace Medicine professionals sat in on a briefing in which the 521st AMOW’s 10th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Flight discussed COVID-19 Transport Isolation System protocols. The TIS is an infectious disease containment unit designed to minimize contamination risk to aircrew and medical attendants, while allowing in-flight medical care for patients afflicted by a disease like COVID-19.
