Military and non-military children staying at the YMCA Camp Hanes in King, N.C.help to make blankets during Military Day activities, July 11 which will later be distributed to families of fallen soldiers. The week-long camp included the Military Day where children were exposed to different aspects of military life such as, Army heater meals, camouflage face paint, physical training and a static vehicle display. The children also wrote supportive letters to veterans and drew pictures that will become parts of a larger mural as a part of Project S.N.A.P. and the Operation Grateful Nation Mosaic Mural project.
