The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Harmful Algal Bloom Interception, Treatment, and Transformation System (HABITATS) team, demonstrate the scalable capability they must move fluidly in dynamic situations. The HABITATs teams collected samples from multiple locations on Lake Okeechobee; they are an integral part of the team's research. Samples must be labeled and preserved in coolers so that they can be tested on site and at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center.
