Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 13, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, prepare to process role players for identification and registration at a humanitarian assistance disaster relief camp during humanitarian assistance operations training aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, July 11, 2012. Identifying and registering people who visit the camp provides the Marines with an accurate way to track how their supplies and resources are being used. For more than a week, CLB-13 practiced providing humanitarian assistance, mass casualty evacuation, and noncombatant evacuation operations in preparation for next year’s deployment with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
