Congratulations to Airman 1st Class Kellen Boyd, Radio Frequency Transmissions Technician, 374th Communications Squadron, on being this week’s Airlifter of the Week!
Since arriving at Camp Zama, Boyd epitomized the US Army Japan “Ichi-Dan (One-Team) Spirit” during a Joint SERE Exercise at Camp Fuji. When asked for volunteers he was the first to raise his hand and spent more than 8 hours in inclement weather conditions acting as Opposing Forces during diverse 38th Aviation Battalion personnel recovery scenarios. His participation was key to training and qualifying 18 Soldiers on Uncertain and Hostile environment extraction and furthering US Forces Japan’s status as the Cornerstone of Peace and Security in the Pacific.
Congratulations again to Airman 1st Class Kellen Boyd!
