Italian Maj. Gen. Franco Federici, commander of Kosovo Force, hands off the NATO flag to Col. Derek Adams, commander of Regional Command-East of the KFOR28 rotation, during the transfer of authority ceremony Nov. 15, 2020, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Adams will command the 28th iteration of RC-E that consists of troops of the U.S. Army, NATO partners and ally nations. Federici presided over the ceremony.
