The Current Buster 600 oil containment system used to separate oil from water is pulled along side USNS Catawba by a small boat to display its capabilities during an oil spill cleanup drill, part of a humanitarian aid and disaster relief exercise. Coalition forces are conducting the exercise Nov. 1-7 to enhance capabilities in responding to a regional nation's request for assistance during a time of a crisis. Exercises between the coalition and its regional partners provide an excellent opportunity for the coalition to demonstrate its commitment to security and stability in the region.
