    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    A section of an improved ribbon bridge is lowered into water during an 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group training exercise aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 9, 2012. During the exercise, elements of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing supported the battalion’s efforts by providing a CH-53E Super Stallion from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 366, which lifted individual pieces of the bridge at Landing Zone Sandpiper and dropped them at Engineer’s Point.
