A sailor with the USS Rushmore guides a high-mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle into position, preparing to lift it by crane aboard the USS Rushmore, Aug. 17. Marines from Maintenance Detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, were conducting preventative maintenance on all of the vehicles aboard the ship to ensure they were in operational condition. The 15th MEU is embarked as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group during Certification Exercise, their final training before their deployment this fall.
