Corporal Nick W. Scheuing, motor transportation mechanic, Headquarters and Support Company, Battalion Landing Team 3/5, pulls a belt from a high-mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle aboard the USS Rushmore, Aug. 17. Marines aboard the ship were conducting preventative maintenance on all of the vehicles to ensure they were in operational condition. The 15th MEU is embarked as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group during Certification Exercise, their final training before their deployment this fall.
