A U.S. KC-135 Stratotanker maintenance crew, 376th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (EAMXS), perform pre-flight procedures before an air refueling over Afghanistan, Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, Aug. 5, 2012. The 376th EAMXS/AMU puts a strong emphasis on by-the-book maintenance in order to keep the KC-135s in the air and refueling U.S. and coalition air assets who directly support ground forces in Afghanistan.
