Mechanical Engineer Richard Williams, Fire Protection Engineer Brit Rockafellow, Team Lead and Structural Engineer Amy Cassidy and Cost Engineer Diego Benavidez with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District, discuss their observations, note items of concern, and determine how to most cost effectively provide suggested solutions for upgrades to existing barracks during a walk through on Clay Kaserne February 25, 2021. A multi-discipline team from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers assessed nine barracks facilities with U.S. Army Garrison Directorate of Public Works engineers throughout the week. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is providing the garrison with recommendations and cost estimates to help the garrison with plans and budgeting for possible future upgrades and renovations.
