U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Agapito Ramos, a boatswain’s mate assigned to Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 1, Williamsburg, Virginia, repeats the oath of enlistment to U.S. Navy Lt. Tam Colbert, assigned to NCHB-1, while reenlisting for another six years in the Navy aboard the USS Constitution, in Boston Harbor, April 3, 2021. Ramos said he originally enlisted because he wanted to serve his country, and wants to continue doing so. Ramos is currently deployed to Boston as part of the group of service members supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency at the Community Vaccination Center in Boston. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
