U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Agapito Ramos, a boatswain’s mate assigned to Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 1, Williamsburg, Virginia, stands at the podium of the USS Constitution following his six-year reenlistment, in Boston Harbor, April 3, 2021. Ramos had the honor of signing his reenlistment papers at the ship’s podium, a rare opportunity that many Sailors do not get. Ramos is currently deployed to Boston as part of the group of service members supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency at the Community Vaccination Center in Boston. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
