During the visit, Geurts and Jenkins met with Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 12 commander and other warfare commanders to receive an in-depth look at underway operations and significant milestones made during Ford's last independent steaming event (ISE) as part of post-delivery test and trials. During Ford's final ISE, she will complete combat systems ship qualification trials, integrated CSG operations and cyclic flight operations.
