Gen. Paul J. LaCamera, USARPAC commanding general, awards Mrs. Regina Preston, Brig. Gen. Andrew D. Preston's wife, former USARPAC chief of staff, the meritorious public service medal, April 22, during the Flying V ceremony held at historic Palm Circle, Fort Shafter, Hawaii. LaCamera was the host for the ceremony. The Flying V ceremony traditionally welcomes or honors senior Army officials when they assume duties or depart from #USARPAC. The “V” refers to the way the colors are posted during the ceremony, which is in a V-shape.
