Spc. Elizabeth Parr (right), 261st Signal Company, 15th Sustainment Brigade, is awarded the German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency Sept. 7, 2012 at the German Club on Fort Bliss after. Parr, a native of Fernley, Nevada, completed a series of training obstacles including: 200-meter swim, three-kilometer run run, 100-meter sprint, 12-kilometer ruck march, a shooting pistol shooting competition, and a measured long jump. The German military has been active in the Fort Bliss community for over 50 years.
