210415-N-ZE595-1005 SANTA RITA, Guam (April 15, 2021) Seabees, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, fill and level an area for improved access to the emergency demolition range at Naval Base Guam Ordnance Annex. The efforts improve the safety, lifespan, and usefulness of the range for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 5, Detachment Marianas, that performs emergency disposal of unexploded ordnance found throughout the island. NMCB-4 is forward-deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region ready to support major combat operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief and to provide general engineering and civil support to U.S. and joint forces.
