A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft adorns the 100th Air Refueling Wing’s newest heritage nose art, “Skipper III,” as Gary Christopher, on screen, views it virtually during a ceremony at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, May 7, 2021. The nose art, designed by Gary Rogers, 100th ARW Public Affairs graphic artist, is dedicated to Christopher’s father, retired Master Sgt. Dewey Christopher, former 351st Bomb Squadron maintainer and crew chief of the 100th Bombardment Group and World War II. Dewey passed away in 2019. The jet was also “adopted” by the 100th Mission Support Group as part of RAF Mildenhall’s “Adopt-a-Jet” program. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere)
