During his time as a crew chief and maintainer on B-17 Flying Fortress aircraft, he worked on “Skipper” and “Skipper II.” One of Royal Air Force Mildenhall’s KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft was renamed “Skipper III” in Christopher’s honor May 7, 2021.
