U.S. Marines and guides for their platoons, with Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, passed off the guidons to their drill instructors during the Graduation Ceremony at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on May 6, 2021. The graduating Marines return the guidon to their drill instructor signifying the end of recruit training. Drill instructors march their platoon guidons back to the Recruit Training Regiment headquarters building.
