Tim Weber, commander, Naval Medical Forces Pacific, implantable dental materials being developed to promote wound healing during a visit, May 19. Scientists at the lab conduct gap-driven combat casualty care research to improve the health, readiness, and survivability of warfighters. Weber, who has oversight of Navy Medicine's eight medical research labs, was at NAMRU-SA for their change of command and to learn more about their bench to battlefield research.
