Guardsmen from the Oregon Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) conduct search and extraction (S&E) operations as part of Rogue One ExEval. The S&E element is trained to conduct search, rope rescue, lifting/loading, and confined space operations in support of natural and man-made disaster response operations. An ExEval is an inspection conducted by the Joint Interagency Training and Education Center every two years, and is designed to measure the CERFP team’s ability to respond to a natural or human caused disaster. Rogue One is the first CERFP ExEval conducted since the Covid-19 lockdown began in early 2020. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by 1st Lt. N. Daniel Delgado)
