Forensic Anthropologist Joshua Toney takes notes during a witness interview while conducting recovery operations in Ha Tinh, Vietnam. Toney is the recovery leader for a 12-person team deployed out of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, and is searching for evidence of three Americans that are listed as missing in action. In total, six recovery teams are excavating four separate aircraft crash sites and two ground losses, searching for evidence of 12 Americans unaccounted-for from the Vietnam War. The approximately 30-day undertaking marks the 108th Joint Field Activity in Vietnam.
