Army Sgt. 1st Class Rebecca Davenport, Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command, screens alongside Vietnamese workers in search of evidence for three Americans that are listed as missing in action. In total, six JPAC recovery teams are excavating four separate aircraft crash sites and two ground loss sites, searching for evidence of 12 Americans unaccounted-for from the Vietnam War. The Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command conducts global search, recovery and laboratory operations to identify unaccounted-for Americans from past conflicts in order to support the Department of Defense's personnel accounting efforts.
