PORT HUENEME, Calif. (June 29, 2021) Streatcher bearers take instruction from Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Jefferson Rosete on movement operations and safe patient transport as part of a simulated medical emergency during Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 18’s Command Post Exercise (CPX). CPX is a training evolution conducted by Seabee battalions to assess their mission readiness exercise to prepare battalions for future operations. NMCB 18 Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service by providing task-tailored, adaptable and combat-ready engineering and construction forces that deploy to support Navy objectives globally.
